CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ARCOS THERA ANTI-STICKENING PAN

  • BEFORE YOU USE YOUR PAN FOR THE FIRS TIME

    • Heat the frying on low heat for 30 seconds and using an absorbent serviette, apply olive oil onto the non-stick surface. Wipe of excess oil if too much is added. • Wait until the oil which has applied to the surface is completely absorbed. • When the oil is absorbed, remove the frying pan from the heat and leave to cool. • Once the rying pan is cold, wash with water and a soft sponge to remove the residues from the previous process withour damaging the non-stick.
  • CLEANING AND STORAGE

    • Cool the pan at room temperature (avoid use with cold water which will damage the non-stick surface). • To remove incrusted grease, leave the pan to soak in hot, soapy water for a cuople of hours. Bicarbonate of Soda can be used to help eliminate the grease. • Do not use metal, abrasive, rough or very hard materials or aggressive cleaning productos on any of the surfaces. Only use scourers or materials designed for non-stick surfaces. • The pan may be washed in the dishwasher, however hand warhing is recommeded. If the pan is frequently washed in the dishasher, the surface may become dull. • Store pans on a shelf or in a drawer with enough space to breathe. Should they need to be stacked, protect the non-stick surface with card or cloth to avoid damage.
  • USE

    • The diameter of the ring on the hob should be the same as the diameter of the pan that is being used. • If you are using gas, make sure that the flame only comes into contact with the base of the pan. Use a moderate or low heat for most recipes and with all types of heat source, allowing the pan to heat slowlyand fradually. • At hig tempertaures the non-stick surface may be damaged and cause the guaratee to become void. Never allow oil or fat to beging to smoke. • Do not marinate or store food, be it raw or cooked, in the pan. • We recommend you use silicone utensils. Although wooden or plastic heat-resistant utensils may also be used. Metal utensils, spoons, electric whisks… should not be used on the non-sitck surface. • Do not tap the utensils on the edge of the pan. Knives or sharp instruments should not be used to cut the food on the non-stick surface. Scratches caused by the use of metal utensils are no covered by the guarantee. • Overheating not covered by the guarantee. Damage caused by overheating is easyly identified. The non-sitck surface loses colour and in many cases raises.
